Name: Dimensional Rift
Element(s): Space
Cost: 10
Description: A rip in the fabric of reality, as if somebody had ripped literal fabric. Within the rip looks as though one is in outer space, among the stars.
Effect: Rather than opening a rift to another dimension, Shirou instead opens a rift to another location in the same plane of existence, in the same time period as well, with the second rift opening at the destination, with the same appearance. Whilst out of battle, Shirou is free to open up a rift, with no limit on distance and it takes no Source to open them. As well, travelling through it will be like walking down a corridor, only spanning about ten feet.
While in battle, Shirou must use Source to open a rift. His range is a ten foot radius from the first rift, with the rift appearing at his destination. In addition, traveling through a rift will be instantaneous, forgoing the corridor effect. This rift lasts for a single, complete, use. Meaning if someone were to step half way in the portal until they stepped all the way through or retract themselves all the way back the portal would remain open (as to not confuse people because of physics). Nothing created from Source can enter it, and instead passes through the rift, as if it isn't there. The exceptions to this are if it's a summon or a person using a Source-based form.
